New in 2005 ! Alden has combined the classic 16 hull design and created an entire new deck and cockpit to create a great new boat that is truly all its own.

Alden started with the hull of its most popular Alden 16 model, and then completely re-designed and re-engineered the top deck and cockpit area to accommodate the classic built-in sliding seat rigger assembly used on their more expensive "Star" model.

We've taken our time in designing this boat to make sure that it lives up to the name, performance, and reputation that all Alden Rowing Shells possess. This boat can be rowed by five year olds and adults up to 225 pounds.
